Our week off

After the big wedding we needed some time to relax. Work was really busy for a few weeks, Alex had had loads of overtime to do, then we'd had a very busy social life for a few weeks and we were both knackered!

Our week off has been domestic and lovely. Downstairs is a chocolate victoria sponge cake which I have cooked and I'm looking forward to scoffing!

Earlier today we went to Alex's nan to pick up her old radio which she was threatning to chuck out. We thought it was a black pye radio but apparently it's a Beethoven.














Anyway, we have also finally finished working on our extension floor, it is now varnished and lovely! And the desk which had been in the garage for the last 6 months awaiting its fate; well I finally got around to fishing sanding and varnishing it, yey!
