I ran 5km in the Adidas Women's Challenge!

I ran 5km in 39minutes and raised over £300 for Leukaemia CARE!
It was a really fun event; the warm up was really fun, the people were enthusiastic and supportive, and miraculously the 5km didn't kill me! Yey
The first picture was taken before, the third was taken minutes after the run. 2000 participants tried to run the course and if you've ever thought about trying a run I'd recommend it! Thanks everyone

Proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!
I've just seen Josep Carreras on The One Show talking about his Leukaemis Charity. He will sing in The Albert Hall on 11th December in aid of above charity.
Anyway, we had a lovely day with you both. Thank you Adidas Women's Challenge to give us the excuse of a Pub Meal!!!

5km? That's about 3 miles isn't it? Pretty good going and as Yazz & The Plastic Population would say "The Only Way Is Up"

Before you know it you'll be doing quarter marathons, half-marathons, marathons and from there its only a short step to performing "Everybody Wants To Run The World" on the next Tears For Fears reunion tour.

Be warned - it could happen...

PS: Does 5KM constitute a "Fun Size" Marathon? (groan...sorry)
