Christmas Fun Run

Christmas Fun Runs took place in aid of Leukaemia CARE in early december, really putting me in the Christmas spirit!

The rest of december flew by with preparations for Christmas and then, at the last minute, I got Alex's cold; disaster! Well not much of one, actually in the end I was fine for Christmas day but it did mean I missed the midnight service on Christmas eve, which was a real shame because that usually makes me UBER Christmassy!

A few of us went out for our works Christmas party in Worcester, which I'd never been out in before. I stayed at Nicky's house and met her four cats and her dog Brian. Had a good night all together - ended up not taking a photo of anything except her cats though!

The office party was officially on the last friday before we all broke up and it was a real hoot. As you can see we wore hats, played games and eat very well indeed!

The next day, the saturday, we drove over to see my parents. Alex and I carried all our presents with us and mum cooked an astronomically large turkey and we drank wine and played Trivial Pursuit. It was a lovely, Christmassy, family evening and good fun.

The biggest decision of any festive season is which board game you will challenge your relations with, in every respect of the words. Rumour has it that Atila The Hun was the quiet stay-at-home type until his wife challenged him to a quick round of Buckaroo one Christmas morning. This year on my list was "reverse scrabble" and "Cluedo". It can be truly said that i played The Three Degree(holder)s to the Sport Of Kings this year and remain proud that only Professor Plum went to jail afterwards
